Description
NFC, or Near Field Communication, is a technology that allows for wireless communication between devices when they are in close proximity to each other. In the context of emergency accidents, an individual could potentially use an NFC-enabled device, such as a smartphone, to quickly and easily contact their family members or loved ones in the event of an emergency. This could be done by storing the contact information of these individuals on a chip embedded in a piece of jewelry or other item that the individual is wearing or carrying with them, and then using their NFC-enabled device to quickly and easily read that information and initiate a call or send a message
